Introducing Our Partnership with Sail Away Magazine

At Supercruises, we’re always looking for new and exciting ways to engage with the cruise community. That’s why we’re proud to announce our partnership with Sail Away Magazine, the digital and printed publication dedicated to updating its readers on all things cruise-related. With this partnership, the Sail Away team will be offering insights into some of the cruise lines we famously work with while we’ll be sponsoring some of their content – and there might even be a few extra special offers in store!

In this little introductory piece, we’re going to explore the kind of work Sail Away are doing, sharing a little about what our collaboration is going to offer and possibly teasing at a few opportunities for our loyal customers.

Who are Sail Away?

This magazine started life as the YouTube and social media channel Sail Away with Dan and Jay – platforms which offered in-depth cruise guides and honest cruise reviews. The content on these channels ranged from full ship tours to unfiltered cruise reviews, capturing the attention of thousands of viewers with its down-to-earth sensibility and, of course, the charming hosts.

The move to print

After building a loyal fanbase online, Sail Away decided to reestablish itself as a cruise travel magazine, offering similar insights with a more detailed, sophisticated approach. Articles include Travel Blog Jamie’s expedition reports of different ships, insights and tips from Cruise Mummy, the latest in cruise news and farewells to vessels that are being put to rest, to name a few.

This transition to print and digital print media has also incorporated new merchandise like greetings cards, card games and of course their new Sail Away: Uncensored Cruise Podcast – the fastest growing cruise podcast online, available to stream on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify. This podcast dares to be different, by addressing the cruise topics that keep cruisers engaged – think everything from boozy stories to swinging on the high seas!

Our partnership with Sail Away

We see our connection with Sail Away as a great opportunity to get to know our audience better. For our clients, we’re hoping they connect with the Sail Away brand to get a more intimate look at what life has to offer on a cruise, including tips and detailed guides. The cruise community comes out in full force for Dan and Jay, just as they do when booking their next trips through our cruise booking platform. That’s why we’re proud to be the sponsor for their next round of videos and podcasts in the coming months. This takes us a little outside of our comfort zone, especially considering the recent, ahem, racy podcast episode that featured viral couple Olivia and Gage, sharing insights into swinging cruises!

Note: Don’t worry, we offer plenty of cruises for those who don’t swing!

Special offers from our partnership

To solidify this partnership, both us and the team at Sail Away Magazine are offering our audiences (of which there’s certainly significant overlap) a range of special offers. On their end, our customers will get a Super Discount off their first issue of Sail Away. From us, we’ll be offering Subscribers to Sail Away special discounts on their first booking through our platform. Stay tuned as we announce more, very soon! Whichever end you’re coming from, you can’t lose! So with all this in mind, make sure to keep an eye out for what Sail Away Magazine have coming from their platforms next – it’s sure to be an exciting voyage in one way or another.
