The Big Island’s port. Hilo is the gateway for cruise passengers looking to explore the most expansive side of the natural Hawaiian experience.
Hilo is the front door of the Big Island (Hawaii), and is an excellent introduction to the state. The port is surrounded by lush rainforests, breathtaking waterfalls and volcanic landscapes as far as the eye can see. And that’s not to mention some of its gorgeous beachfront areas. Day trips to Hilo can include explorations of Rainbow Falls and Pe’epe’e Falls, along with the dedicated Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It’s also packed with historical and cultural sites and active markets – there’s even a rainforest zoo! Cruises from Hilo allow for exploration around the islands, so check out the range of inclusive itineraries we have on offer below.
