LGBTQ+ Friendly Cruises

An LGBTQ+ friendly cruise can mean many things. It might be a regular sailing with a welcoming crew and a meet-up on your first night. It might be Pride month at sea, or a party that runs all year. Knowing the difference helps you find the holiday you're after.

For celebrating Pride: Celebrity Cruises marks the whole of June with Pride events and flies the Pride flag on every ship. It also hosts LGBTQ+ welcome parties on the first night of almost every cruise.

For a party all year: Virgin Voyages hosts drag shows and Drag Bingo on every sailing, and its ships are adults-only.

For a classic voyage with company: Cunard offers LGBTQ+ social events and commitment ceremonies. Holland America and Ambassador both hold LGBTQ+ meetups on board, a relaxed way to find like-minded travellers.

For destination lovers: Azamara has a long record of welcoming LGBTQ+ guests, with longer stays and overnights in port so there's time to really explore each place.

For big-ship fun: Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean are long-standing favourites with LGBTQ+ travellers, with a warm welcome on board and plenty to do from morning to late.

For something different on the river: VIVA Cruises is a proud member of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association. It has run LGBTQ+ & Friends river cruises and a WorldPride sailing into Amsterdam, all on relaxed, all-inclusive river ships.
